Route optimization

Route optimization software and driver app

Plan and optimize your delivery routes from the web or the mobile app. Cut mileage and follow your drivers with Otiggo.

Optimize from the web

Create a route, pick the parcels, assign a driver and calculate the stop order.

Optimize from mobile

Drivers reorder their own stops from the depot, an address or their GPS position.

Synchronized both ways

Changes made on the web or in the app leave both sides on the same stop order.

Multi-carrier routes

One route can mix parcels from several clients, each keeping its origin.

Live workspace

Route optimization

Synchronized

Constraint-aware sequencing

Stops are ordered around the starting point, customer constraints, time windows and the priorities of the day.

Driver-side optimization

The driver can recalculate the remaining stops from their current location, in the middle of the shift.

Pinned first stop

Keep a depot pickup or a fixed appointment in first position, then optimize everything around it.

Live route tracking

Status, delivered parcels, remaining stops, returns and driver position, without calling the field.

CONNECTED OPERATIONS

Optimize from the web or the driver app

Otiggo does not stop at drawing an itinerary: it covers route creation, driver assignment, parcel handling, live tracking and proof of delivery.

BUILT FOR DAILY OPERATIONS

Plan, send, follow

Dispatch builds and optimizes routes from the web, while each driver can reorder their own stops from the mobile app — starting from the depot, a chosen address or their current position.

  • Create the route: Select the parcels, set the starting point and assign the driver in charge.
  • Calculate the sequence: Otiggo orders the stops to cut the time spent on the road and the distance travelled.
  • Send to the driver: The route lands in the mobile app with the details needed for each delivery.

A clearer operating flow

1

Create the route

Select the parcels, set the starting point and assign the driver in charge.

2

Calculate the sequence

Otiggo orders the stops to cut the time spent on the road and the distance travelled.

3

Send to the driver

The route lands in the mobile app with the details needed for each delivery.

Frequently asked questions about route optimization

Can drivers optimize their route from the mobile app?
Yes. From the Otiggo mobile app, a driver can review the deliveries assigned to them and reorder their stops directly. The calculation can start from the depot, a specific address or their current GPS position.
Can dispatch optimize routes as well?
Yes. Managers can create, organize and optimize routes from the web platform, then send them to the drivers’ mobile app.
Can a first stop be forced?
Yes. A priority parcel or pickup can be kept in first position. Otiggo then optimizes the rest of the route around that constraint.
Can a route be changed during the day?
Yes. When a stop is added, cancelled or moved, the order of the remaining deliveries can be recalculated. The new itinerary is then synchronized between the mobile app and the web platform.
Can parcels from several carriers be grouped?
Yes. An Otiggo route can combine parcels from several carriers or clients. The originating carrier stays visible on each parcel.
What is the difference between route planning and route optimization?
Planning defines the parcels, the driver, the vehicle, the starting point and the constraints of the route. Optimization calculates the most efficient order of travel between the stops.
Can dispatch follow route progress?
Yes. The web platform shows route status, delivered parcels, remaining deliveries and the driver’s position.
How many stops can Otiggo optimize?
Otiggo Driver supports up to 15, 200 or 500 stops per route depending on the selected plan.
